Greek colours for beginners

A visual routine

Practise with objects around you

  1. Choose three swatches and cover the English.
  2. Retrieve the meaning from the Greek.
  3. Look around and identify something that matches each colour.
  4. Return later and change the order.

When colour recognition is comfortable, connect the words to everyday object vocabulary.
